Weatherby Alaskan value

I am interested in purchasing a Weatherby Alaskan in 300 Weatherby mag. The gun is in great shape. Does anyone know its value and maybe a little about the rifle. Bottom line is this a good rifle.

  The latest Blue Book values them between $450 & $635 for conditions 80 per cent to 98 per cent respectively, plus $37 for Weatherby Magnum calibers.
  They were only made between 1992 & 1994 and their finish is electroless nickel.
