Cannon question. Who makes it? Parts? (22 cal.)

I have this small cannon and am missing the firing mechanism.
Anyone know anything about it?
There are no markings of any kind.
Any ideas?
Where I might go to find out?
Anything.

  It's a piece that someone made as a hobby. Obviously not a model of any real field piece. We see these pieces, some of best workmanship and skill, that could have been a beautiful and autheintic model if the maker had put more of his excellent effort into research and study of how a model should be made. Even so I'm sure he had fun in making it. Somebody probably removed the breech mechanism to keep it from being a menace to kids.

  You might want to try cannon-mania.com to see if they might know something about it. I agree it is probably a one-off cannon someone built up. Emery
