unknown hand gun

I'm trying to get some information on a hand gun that I've had for some time but no dealers can identify it. This is all I know about it.
Made in germany
stamped on the barrel: RoHM GMBH SONTHEIM / BRENZ
CAL 38 SPECIAL
DOUBLE ACTION
The right grip has a round tag with, RoHM
The left grip has a round tag with, RG63

Any information at all would be helpfull to me.

  If I remember right this is a ROHM manf. out of Germany in the 60s/70s. They were inexpensive firearms made for different U.S.companies. There is no collector value that I know of and price range is from $10 to around $95. Hope this helps.

  Thanks for the info. Let me know if there's some where I can get new grips for this gun. My local dealer says that I would have to get custom made grip cause nothing else is available.

  You can try Gun Parts Corp; occasionally they have unusual parts.
  
  I hope that you understand that this gun should not be used for defense, and should be used for informal target shooting only with light loads & great caution.
