.38 cal in a .357
I have a colt king cobra .357 mag. I wanted to see if i can shot .38 cal bullets instead of .357's for cost savings and less recoil when target shooting and plinking, not for self defense. Thank you for your responses in advance.

You can shoot .38 Specials.

You can indeed, but be sure to clean cylinders well after shooting .38 specials. The shorter cartridges can leave deposits that form ridges making .357's harder to chamber over time if the cylinders are not throughly cleaned with attention to this potential problem. 0
