Can anyone give me some insight as to the various "Letters" to the model 340 222....Which model 340(?) is the most hard to come by, most popular, what are the distinctions?

  THE "C" IS FOR CARBINE, AND THE "S" IS FOR DELUXE, FROM WHAT I'VE READ. I OWN A 340-C, IN .222 CAL. GREAT LITTLE GUN!
