STAG grips real or plastic??
how can i tell if the grips on a gun are real or plastic stag?
no i can't remove them owner of pawn shop won't allow. feel and look real but want to make sure before spending money on gun.

If it's real, it'll feel warm and solid in the hand. Plastic is cold and , well, plastic. Also tap them with a pencil or something similar, plastic sounds hollow, stag solid. Also , good pair of 3x glasses would help!! What kind of shop does he run? I'd be real careful of anything I bought there!!

Yeah, plastic grips are hollow. Real stag isn't. Plastic will be smooth to the touch. Real will feel a tic rough. Plastic can't be scratched with a fingernail. Stag grips are made of antler, so it'll just feel different like packrat says. 0 -
