can the mag release on a sig p239 be switched to the other side and can you tell me how thanks

  Are the magazines interchangeable between calibers?? (.357 Sig, 9 MM,
  40 S&W). I put 9 MM in a .40 magazine and they stayed put. The .357 is necked down 9 so most of the case is the same size 9 MM.
  
  
  I stand corrected on the .357 Sig. I knew it and spaced it.
  
  
  Thanks one and all. Will not try to use anything but what is intended for each caliber.

  I don't think either person got hurt. I've had my P239 in .357Sig for a few years and can't say enough good things about it. You didn't say what caliber yours was, but it really doesn't matter, it's still a good weapon. You'll enjoy it.
