+P+ 9mm. Ammo in Glock/Browning HP

Any experience with the 115 gr. Speer in these pistols?How about P+ 124 gr. Speer? Best, Robert

  I would use it in the Glock but not the HP. I don't recall the HP being +P+ approved. 9mm +P+ rounds are usually for SMG's. .02 [;)]

  If u do decide to use +P+ in the browning, then I'd maybe opt to install a stonger reciol spring.

  Use +P ammo occasionally, but as I said earlier, I'd leave the +P+ for the subguns. The high pressure is really tough on the locking mechanisms in a pistol and tend to lead to very premature wear.

  I have found standard pressure ammo gives much better accuracy than +P or +P+. In my opinion, quickness in getting the first round off and bullet placement is more important than velocity.

  In the early seventies I fired several cans of surplus mg ammo through
  a 1935 vindage browning, after a couple of cans I replaced the spring
  with a heavy recoil spring. All that was shot for practice. The gun
  showed no damage. I would not shoot a single round of that ammo through a glock.

  i have to agree with dennis. I don't think you should shoot +p in a Glock.

  Bet it would be Great in a Camp 9mm Carbine! Same velosity as a .357 Sig. Probably best to use this stuff in speciality cases (heavy clothing/protection). Why would it say "not for law enforcement use"? Best, Robert

  Wouldn't own a Glock, know for a fact they have unsupported area around case head in .40-if same area exists in 9mm; DO NOT use other than 9mm para.-you can check by removing the barrel and placing a cartridge into chamber of barrel: can you see the area ahead of the rim?
