Just bought a Dan Wesson Pointman-Minor 45 acp Just looking for info -reliabilty ouality,approx value has been shot but like new in box traded a Marlin 39A Golden for it at Gun Show!

  You got a deal. Althought the Pointman Minor was the bottom of their line it is still a true 70 series 1911 made in America with American components. Should be a very good gun for you.

  Very high quality gun. I think the other Wesson, S&W, came out with one recently perhaps as a response. Both are great from all reports.
