Where can I find some one to make a stock for a ranger overunder16 gauge model number 103 1-1

I can't find your model number in the crossover lists, but it was probably made by one of the large manufacturers for Sears. If you can find out exactly what model it is you can probably get a stock from Boyd's Gunstocks, www.boydboys.com ; and in fact, they might even know what it is. Most of the guns made for chain stores were the most common models and Boyds makes many such stocks. If no one can tell you exactly what it is from your model number you might be able to find out by comparing it to photos in old catalogs or collector books like "The Gun Trader's Guide" or "Modern Gun Values." 0 -

My book notes that Marlin Model 90 was made as the "RANGER" 103 for Sears. Your shotgun probably dates to the prewar years. As after the war the shotguns were sold under the "J. C. Higgins" name and had "Marlin's" name on them all so. 0
