Walther PP , Manurhin manufacture
Centerfire Systems is offering these Walther PP's. Here's the description from the site.
These Walther PP's were made under license by Manurhin in France. They still have the original arsenal markings. Includes (2) 8rd original magazines, decocker safety, brown grips with manufacture stamp, shoulder holster and original Walther Box. These former German Police guns are still in excellent/new condition. C&R eligible. Includes: Original Box, Extra Mag, and Shoulder Holster
Has anyone had experience with these? Since they're C&R I was thinking of getting one. Here's the link.

You will find that the Manurhin PP pistols are of excellent quality. After the end of WWII the Walther Company, like all German firearms makers, was prohibited from producing small arms. The PP series of pistols were still very sought after and Manurhin was granted a license in the early 1950's to begin manufacturing Walther pistols. The very first of these pistols imported into the United States were brought in by the old Thalson Import Company of San Francisco. These pistols clearly said MADE IN FRANCE on the slides and were stamped MARK II. Starting in the late 1950's these were imported by Interarmco and then in 1984 under the Manurhin name itself. I have only seen a handful of the early Thalson pistols.
Although Walther began manufacturing the PP series again in the late 1950's (I have a PP dated 1958) Manurhin continued production as well and also supplied the Berlin Police with pistols. No German manufactured firearms were allowed to be used by police or military forces in Berlin so the French made PP's were issued instead of Walther made pistols. I have owned a few of the French made Walthers and found them to be very nice. The Manurhin PPK's are sought after by collectors since few seem to have been imported before the Gun Control Act of 1968 banned their further importation. I'm sure you'll be pleased with your Manurhin if you decide to purchase one.

Manhurin made P1(P38) pistols too. A local shop has one and it is smoother than some of the Walther P1's I've seen lately.

I have one in 22 caliber, and someday I may get around to actually firing the pistol. New in box with papers, target cleaning rod, etc. The fit is just as good as a Walther PP I had traded off 20 years ago. 0 -
I just got mine from centerfire today. I would rate it a good 98%; it lost points due to a little wear on one of the grips, and the slightest edge wear at the muzzle. No scratches or other blemishes. Original box numbered to the gun, but the holster is kind of rough; the shoulder harness and holster together are pretty awkward. If I had some more $$ I'd get some more! 0 -
I don't often get this interested, but I went ahead and ordered one of these Manurhin PP's from Centerfire this morning for myself! I decided to get one of their P1 pistols as well and will post my impressions on both when they arrive. I have a number of interesting PP types (including a Walther PP which was imported by Heckler and Koch!), but I am lacking a Berlin Police pistol. Based on the over all quality of these pistols, the low price and the level of interest you guys created, I just can't see a down side to getting one or more before the supply drys up.
