I am pretty sure that it is the same as the ballistic tip except for the tip color and the moly coating. I would use the same data as the ballistic tip. If so use 35.0gr of H4895, case length should be 2.350, and it should yeild around 3650 fps. hope this helps

    Here's my load.
55 grain hornady v-max. (yours will be similar).
    34.0 grains IMR 4320
    case- trim to 1.902"
    OAL- 2.350"
    ______________________________________________________
39.0 grains of IMR 4350 works well too!

    41.0 IMR4350 55gr bullet

    Freedom Casull,
Just an FYI, the Nosler Ballistic Silver Tips are not Moly Coated. They are a Lubolox coating that will not coat and gunk up your barrel like moly. It works more like a lubricant that anything.

    Thanks

I USE 35.2GR OF IMR 4064 ON JUST ABOUT ALL MY 55 GR BULLETS.
2.350 OAL IS RIGHT, BUT YOU CAN PLAY AROUND WITH SEATING DEEPTH AND FIND WHAT WORKS WITH YOUR RIFLE. IF YOU ARE SHOOTING GROUNG CHUCKS, PRARIE DOGS, ECT. SIERRA MAKES AN AWESOME BULLET. IT IS CALLED THE BLITZ KING, IT COMES IN VARIOUS WEIGHTS AND IS A POLYMER TIP BOAT TAIL. HAMMERS THE LITTLE CRITTERS REAL HARD!!

MINE AND MY FRIENDS EDITION OF THE NOSLER BOOK DOES NOT GIVE DATA FOR THIS BULLET.(OLDER EDITIONS) I NEED BASIC INFO. SUCH AS CASE LENGTH, POWDER LOAD AND MOST IMPORTANTLY THE OVERALL LENGTH OF THE LOADED CARTRIDGE. IF ONE OF YOU GUYS, OR GALS, COULD HELP OUT I WOULD APPRECIATE ANY INFO. YOU COULD PROVIDE.
