22 target gun

This is my first time on this so I hope someone can help me out.I am looking for a good 22 cal target gun, I found one it is a Baikal 1zh35 Eaa target 22lr. I have done a little reshearch but was looking for someone who knows about this gun. I would like to know if it is a good gun and if you think $450.00 is a good price for this.

  I HAVE ONE OF THESE NOW, GOOD GUN. VERY ACCURATE, NOT AS NICE AS A SMITH 41, MORE BELLS AND WISTLES THAN A BROWNING BUCK MARK. TRIGGER COULD BE NICER BUT THATS IN COMPARISON WITH MY BENNELLI MP85.

  Welcome aboard,if I may,you might want to consider a Ruger MKII target.Which is less expensive than the gun you mentioned,or the Ruger 22/45 with Bull Barrel.HTH

  Thanks, I am looking for a good gun for league competitions right now i have a browning 22 and i am looking for a better one i have had this 22 for about 6 years now.

  The Ruger MKll is very sweet. A bit of a challenge to put back together the first time you take it apart, but a sweet gun. JMHO

  I just got a new, used old, Wards Western Field 14M 499A .22lr. Its a bolt action, clip fed, with a heavy barrel. It feed .22sht, l, and LR's. Its got a heavy barrel, aperature sights, and full lenght stock. I really can't find an exact cross reference for it, but the closest I could find is it was made by mossberg. Has a full lenght stock. It kinda has the appearance of a biathalon rifle. And its a shooter. And the amazing thing is I only paid chaching!!! $100 for it.
  
  So my advice would be to maybe keep your eye's open for some nice old department store shooters.

  For that kind of money, I would look for a used S&W 41 or one of the older High Standard Target pistol. If you get tired of these, you can get your money back. I am afraid that the resale value of the EAA would not be too good. I have a 5 1/2" S&W 41 and it is hard to beat. I have 3 Ruger target Bull Barrel pistols, and they are nice for the money but not in the class of the 41.

  I agree with rugster...go with Ruger.

  Get the Browning Buckmark. The standard gun comes with adjustable sights which some of the others don't. They are super accurate and last forever.
