I want to improve my sks. Any suggestions

I have 2 different sks's and I would like to supe up one of them. I'm getting kinda of board with one of them and need something to build. I have a chinese sks that is very accurite. Ya you heard me right its accurite I must have gotten lucky with this one. It feeds great and puts good groups at a hundred yards. I already have a Druganov stock on it and I just ordered a scope mount, shell deflector and muzzle brake. Are there other things I can do for this gun. Any suggestions would be great thanks.

    larger clip? I don't know what else you could really do to an SKS at this point.

    rldowns3 I have had a problem with real large clips. do you have any suggstions on which company makes a good one.

    I know somebody makes a larger internal magazine for the SKS, I can't think of who makes it though off hand or you can get the gunsmith modification to take AK mags but, as you, I have had problems with those in the past as well, I would suggest getting the larger internal magazine as it is just a matter of removing the old box and snapping the new one in. You should be able to find them in something like Shotgun News pretty easily it's where I found mine but I can't seem to remember the name of the place I ordered it from.

    fixed 20-round is the best hi-cap for a chinese SKS I've ver seen.

    If you are getting bored with your SKS maybe it is time to start saving up for an AR or FAL and leave the SKS where it is at?

    USA mags actually work best in the SKS. Most of their other mags suck but they got the SKS mags right. Try the 20-rd version, a bit more compact than the 30-37rd versions.

    Those 20rd usa mags actually work? I think I have 12 of the 30rd mags around the house all useless. I the chinese star internal fixed 20rd mag works the best but needs to be loaded by hand instead of using strippers.

    Never had a misfeed with any of my SKS rifle that use 'em. Are your 30-rounders USA or Western?

    What do you call accurate? If it doesn't do a couple inches or less at 100 it ain't. Doing anything to a military rifle other than shootingit just buggers up the balance. A scope will not make it shoot any better than it does now. Adding a larger magazine could get youin 'Dutch' with the constabulary, depending on where you live. And nothing will "supe" one of 'em up. Nice reliable toys but high quality firearms they ain't.

    The SKS is a good reliable plunking, self-defense and maybe hunting rifle (soft nose ammo). Stick with the fixed magazine that comes with it. I have lots of detachable
    half work and half jam. No shell deflector made for the SKS works properly
    I've had them all. They drop a shell casing into your receiver and jam the gun about every 3rd or 4th round. Just enjoy it for what it is and maybe sell it and get another rifle for a change of pace.

    I actually built a deflector for one of my SKS rifles that was TIG-welded to the receiver cover. Drops the casings four feet to the right and doesn't jam at all. Keeps the shells out of your face and (other people's faces as well) when your sprayin'.
