RE: Browning FN Trombone

Hi, I hope I am doing this correctly. I have a Browning FN Trombone in excellent condition, at least thats What Homer Tyler told me. Imported , I guess with the 3500 that came to the states from Belgium. Stamped upon the barrel just forward of the reciever is "Shot Shell Only". I cannot find any reference to the "Shot Shell Only" for the Trombone any where let alone the prices on value. If anyone knows about this Gun or can help me with the little Jewel? I would very much appreciate it..Thank you

  Check to see if there is any rifleing in the barrel?
  Book says that 3,200 were imported in the 60's, the Browning rifles that are marked (on barrel) are worth a 20 percent premium.
  Values given range $500+ to $1000, depending on condition. If you have smoothbore might be worth more?

  Thanks Rufe; Barrel is marked FN with shot shell markings and is smooth as a Babys behind inside. Gun is just about Mint.
