Anyone familiar with this company's guns? I saw a pistol on this auction that looks okay, I've never shot one. How do they stand up? I know they are Italian, are they still in business? Thanks.

Owned (3) of their .22 auto's in the past. These pistols all dated from the 1960's. They were well made all steel pistols. Two were very small vest pockets,that are no longer importable. 22 short & 22 long, they were both, strangely more reliable then the larger .22 target I later owned.
Bernardelli is still in business, they have a web site. Don't know who imports/sells them now?0 -
I've owned several of their pistols and still have one- a .380 Model 60. I have always liked their small pocket and vest pistols, while their larger DA 9mm military hanguns left me rather disappointed. Their shotguns are all of excellent quality. Bernadelli went through quite a bit of turmoil about 6 years back and closed it doors. I was in Brescia in June of 1997 and when I drove up to the factory the gates were locked and a crowd of workers were lined up outside waiting for their promised pay...they never got it. At last years SHOT Show I was surprised to see that the company was back in business (owned by Beretta, I think) and had a US distributor. The international coordinator is a fellow named Atesh Onguner in Houston, Texas. Phone 713-622-3777.

Thanks. The one I was looking at was imported by Interarms, so I'd guess it's 70's or 80's. A model 90, in 380.

I have a P.ONE. I haven't fired it yet; hope to today. However, the gun is well made. From feedback I've received from other owners they rate them as good as or better than Beretta at least for the older guns. Mine was imported by Armsport Inc. Miami, Florida.
The company was recently acquired by Salsilmaz and the line is changing. I understand Salsilmaz has also acquired Tanfoglio. Whether that is good or bad is yet to be seen. However, if you can find one of the older P018 or P.ONE pistols they are well worth the money.

I've got one of their older target .22's. Nice gun. As far as I can tell it's as accurate as my Smith 41 and really feels good in your hand. 0
