While digging thru my stuff I came across about 300 rounds of reloaded 22 jet ammo. My question is can you still buy this new? And do I go out and find a gun to shoot this stuff or find someone who uses it? Thankyou beltfed. 0 -
22 Remington Jet? No they don't make it anymore. However I have been replacing bad cases with reworked .357 cases. I use them in the Model 53 Smith.

Is there any load data for those 22 Jet reloads? Problem with the Jet revolvers was case setback. If the load was too hot the case would move back in the cylinder and jam against the breech. If you want to shoot the ammo pick up a T/C contender barrel, usually run about $200. If you want to buy a S&W 53 drop me a line. S1hawkeye@aol.com 0 -
beltfed, suggest you post it for sale "FOR THE COMPONENTS ONLY" - as Alpine's post might suggest, while it's possible to make the brass, it is not one of the quick 'n' easy conversions; if the brass is in good condition, it should be worth $75 - $150 to someone who has a firearm in this chambering. 0
