Its a case of whatever works...! John Wayne could do it and Wyatt Earp too...Its a case of taking a sight picture in your minds eye and shooting till you can place them where you want them without conciously thinking about it....Best....

Captain Kirk could do it too.
He's just too modest to admit it.

You say there is no rear sight.Isn't there a grove down the top of the frame ? If so that's the rear sight.

First thing is to hold the back sight groove and front sight the same way each time in relation to the target. When you can do that each time you fire, you will find that your bullets hit in the same place (more or less), which is called a group. When you can make consistent groups, then you can start to figure out whether to hold higher, lower, right or left to hit what ever you aim at. Some guns held as described above will be pretty much on-target. Hope this helps.

captkirk & others: Well, I did what you all said. I actually was amazed at how close ( I actually hit the target a few times)I can come by mentally picturing in my mind where the bullet should hit while extending my arm (but not really using the front blade sight much or at all) . I don't think I'll ever be an expert but that mental exercise does place the bullet in or near the intended impact point. Thanks guys.
