Thinking about Star Model B Modelo Super 9mm

Is this gun worth buying? It seems to be cheap, but I know nothing about it.

i have a STAR MODEL A in .38 super, my father has a STAR MODEL B in 9mm, and we have a STAR MODEL B SUPER in 9mm at the shop. these are not cheap guns. they are not quickly made foriegn knockoffs. they are one of the best line of semiautomatic combat/service pistols ever made. they are well thought out in design, function, and accuracy. if its in good condition, and you gunsmith says its a shooter, buy it. you will not regret it. best regards, mike.

I have one and LOVE it. Smooth as glass. Mine was $129 from J&G in AZ and has some finish wear but shoots like a dream. I had to clean the mag however to get 100% functioning. Shoots anything. Wish someone made a rubber grip for it. On a budget a 100% acceptable self-defense gun. It just ain't pretty.

I bought one last year on an auction site. Paid 204.00 in supposedly very good condition. When it arrived I would rate it between fair and good. I was disappointed with it until I took it out and fired it. It is a very comfortable peice, thin gripped, with a superb trigger. It is fairly accurate. I wish all my handguns had a comparable trigger to my Star.
