Rheinmetall Nr.4 autoloading shotgun 16ga.
Does anybody know anything about a history and development of this German made shotgun, please?

  There's very little information available on this pre W W II shotgun. The only reference I could find, relating to this shotgun, was a article in a obscure publication.
  "THE INTERNATIONAL ARMS REVIEW" ( 1) this was published by "Jolex" inc. The editor was a man by the name of Roger Barlow.
  
  Perhaps you would be able to obtain a copy through the used book dealers on the net?
