Marlin mdl. 90 shotgun value??
Can anyone give me an estimate of the value of a Marlin mdl. 90 20 gauge with single trigger. The gun is an honest 90-92% overall condition.I believe --first year production. SN 4xx Beautiful figured walnut wood. Thanks. PS--I have seen blue book figures, but know they are not always realistic.

oss,
I rather agree with the good Captain but must ask the following:
1) Are the barrels sepearated=1939-1949 (approximately). Later were joined barrels. Originality of the stocks-serialized? Most of the 90's
were just plain checkered walnut stocks. The single trigger adds a
C-note. Owned a few and they were good shooters. Unfortunately just
never made the high dollar gun value. I agree also w/ Blue Book values being incorrect. The serial numbers are a mess as WW11 was going on and Marlin was involved in the war effort. Marlin was manufacturing everything including, I believe, Garand barrels-Blue Marlin? Just enjoy if safe and as you know, lead shot only. 1010
