Several years ago I bought an O/U shotgun made by the A.V. Maroccini Company in Italy. It was imported through F.I.E. The shotgun is a 20 ga w/ 3" chambers. I have not been able to find any additional information on it. On other forums I posted the same questions and kept getting information on another maker that made EXPENSIVE shotguns- I know it was not the ones I have!
Does anyone know where I can find more information?

Looks like nobody wants to jump in, so here goes. Your gun is a "private label" Ithaca (or Lefever). I don't have my Blue Book handy, so I can't tell you which one. Regardless, it's an exact duplicate of one or the other, made for Sears (I think) and sold under the Western Field name. Little or no collector value. The 4 and 2 denote choking.

Spot on as far as Ithaca goes. It was a low priced utility gun. Engraving is rolled in. Only in VERY good condition will there be collector interest... Above 95%.

Don't know about the Western Field connection, but the gun was very much like a Stevens and probably priced about the same.
