Sharp 9mm S/A

I'm researching a pistol I found in a pawnshop but I'm unable to come up with anything about it on the web. The weapon is a Sharp Model 9mm Single Action Semi-Auto. That's all that the pistol itself says. This is the weapon that the pawn broker suggested to me out of a large selection of Pistols that I am familiar with (Sig, Glock etc...) with no price limit in mind. I want to make sure he's not trying to stick me with a gun that nobody wants. If anyone can help I'd appreciate it.

  Closest thing I could find with just a cursory search, is a very obscure Spanish Pistol dating from the 1920's. It's called a "SHARP-SHOOTER", here's a link.

  Thanks but not the same gun. This gun was of a more modern design and with a safety thumb lock at the rear of the slide, with stainless steel finish.
