Colt cap & ball
I have access to a beautiful Colt cap & ball GCA 1120, 190mm-44, on the glass of the excellent wooden box and along the barrel of the gun there is in a beautiful design carved into both this info reads Giesseppe Garabaldi-1827-1882, please contact to me as to any details you may find on this beauty,[:)] as well as to the value to purchase,. I'm not sure what it is; I'm not aware that the Colt factory ever made a Garibaldi commemorative. It might help if you gave us the exact markings on the gun.
I suspect that you are looking at a copy of a Colt c&b revolver, possibly made by Uberti. Even if it WAS made by Colt, it is probably a "special edition" ordered by some group or distributor, not a "factory commemorative".
In any case, the value of this gun is impossible to estimate. The sale price depends on finding someone who wants it enough to pay the sellers asking price. However, I doubt that it would sell for much, especially since the seller does not have the original cardboard shipping carton & papers.
