is this Class III ?
http://www.gunbroker.com/auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=7429547
The winner of this item wants to have it shipped to a shop where I work part time. He emailed and asked me if it is legal in Indiana. It is an AR15. The description says the lower HAS NO SEAR BLOCK. Does that make it a class III weapon?
Thanks in advance,
Henry

NO it is not a Class III weapon. Some AR15 receivers have thicker walls in the area where a autosear mounts thus BLOCKING the installation of an autosear. The seller is simply stating that this receiver is capable of accepting an autosear. If an autosear was installed or even possessed by the owner of this rifle they would need a Class III. 0 -

Henry,
I was out blasting away last Sun. Expect to be there this Sun also. Perhaps we will meet. Thanks again for responding to my post. This is just what I was looking for.
