    Mark is right, you need to be very careful. One useful webpage I came across recently was:

    Hope it helps, remember though in the UK ignorance of the law in no defence and as we all know the gun laws continue to get worse and worse, I believe they are trying to outlaw airguns now!

    I used Greasemonky's like to e-mail the British agency in charge of importing firearms. When I get it's reply, I'll post the info for the edification of this forum. Thanks for all the help. BTW, maybe when Germany attacks England again, we can all ship our gun collections over there (again)......

    The buyer sent me a UK Home Office link. Firearms chambered for .44 S&W Russian are classified as antiques and are exempt from regulation.
