There are somany choices out there. I want a hi cap but these new ones that come with ten rd. mags are so much cheaper.. What is the deal? cana low cap one take a hi cap mag? If not can the rifle be modified to accept a hi cap mag? curious

  They can be modified and are being modified at the importer to take high capacity mags. Even THEY can't always get it right though. You could end up destroying your gun in the process. There is a great deal of machining involved. I'd recommend just paying the higher amount and be done with it. Trying to save some money could possibly have you left with a pile of un-useable junk, with no one to blame, but yourself. I have seen some of the importer modified ones having problems with different magazines (and they have done thousands of them.) Trying it for the first time yourself could be ultimately more costly than just buying one already set to accept high capacity mags.
