Ruger Vaquero .45
Here's my dilemma. I want a stainless Ruger Vaquero in .45 Long Colt w/the .45 ACP convertible cylinder, 5-1/2" bbl.. But I also want the simulated Ivory grips. I can't seem to find the convertible version with the grips. Does Ruger offer it in this configuration? If not do they sell the grips or cylinder seperately? Can anyone out there save me a call to Ruger?

Gravedigger: If you order a new one do check it out very closely for deffects. I just sent my new .45LC/ACP ss 5 1/2" Vaquero back for exchange due to deffects that caused it to jam after 1 -3 rounds fired. I have also met a fellow at the local gun shop that had the same problem with his new Vaquero and the replacement sent..........his third replacement was perfect. The .45LC/ACP is a really good shooter and I loved my shooting pal's so I ordered one.

Check out Ajax grips. They have the simulated Ivory grips for the Ruger. I have two .45s. Matched stainless with the simulated Ivory grips. Shot the bejabers out of them. I have no complaints. Any shortcomings were due more to my abilities, (or lack thereof) than to any fault of the guns. Wish I could afford more of them. I would love to try out one of the bisleys.
If it ain't broke-it ain't ours!!!0
