my dad has a quackenbush 22cal. single shot trapper rifle ca/880 made in herkimer n.y. in feb.-mar. 1886 it in real nice shape. i need a price so i can buy it thank you.

my grandfather gave me a Henry M. Quackenbush .22cal? rifle. it loads on the barrel and is a june 6 1876 patent date. i dont know much about it and was wondering if anyone had a value on it. it is in good condition. all working parts (far as i know, i dont have another to compare it to), couple scrapes here and there it show some age. if you need anymore info please let me know thank you

Not sure what ca/880 is. I have a value of $500 on mine. It has excellent nickel plating and bore (as new) but a very minor stock repair. It is hard to find one of these in VGC or better as they were mostly 'youth' models and suffered the ills of youth ownership. Also check the chambering. It is probably chambered in 22 Long not LR.
