Savage Mark II 22lr
Been looking to buy a new .22 rifle. Was looking on savage site. They have a grey laminated with a blued bull barrel in the Mark II line. The suggested price is $258, so you know you could get it for a little over $200. Not a bad looking rifle and not a bad price. Does anyone have any experience with this model ? They also are showing a 17hmr in a stainless , laminated grey bull barrel for a suggested price of $306. A little cheaper than the Marlin. May be my next purchase after the .22.

I have a MKIIfv, and it is definitely a nail driver. Most accurate 22lr I own. At 50 yrds it'll group the size of a nickel, at 100 not much more than an inch with Power Points. The included weaver-style bases are a nice touch. Fit and finish is ok but not great. Should be able to get one $170-$200.[:D] 0 -
