How to polish stainless steel?
I recently purchased a Walther PPKS .380 stainless at a local gun show. It's in very good condition except for some very minor surface scratches. I'd like to find someone who can tell me what to use and
how to approach taking out these minor scratches without making new ones. I'd sure appreciate some good advice.

Jewller's rouge on a buffing wheel should do it nicely. Always wear eye protection when doing this sort of thing. A bit of rouge in the eye will ruin your day. And be gentle. Any metal polish, like Flitz, should work as well. No wheel required with Flitz either. 0 -
Just remember to apply almost no force while buffing or you'll burn the finish.

I have used a ScotchBrite pad to remove small scratchs and powder staining. This will give you a dull brushed finish.
