Whats a fair price on a legal, with paper class III AK 47?

Will a double hook trigger get rid of excess trigger pull?I have a sigle hook trigger in my gun now and hate it.THANKS

Riverrat, This question comes up at least once a month and I could just learn to cut and paste this would be a snap! In order to put a pistol grip on your Bulgarian AK you need to relace a certian number of parts to "Americanize" it. The regulations break down a foreign made semiautomatic rifle or shotgun into 20 imported parts. If you can replace 10 of these parts with parts made here in the good old USA the imported rifle is removed from the import ban on military style firearms enacted in 1989. It still must comply with the 1994 Crime Bill, but you can add a pistol grip.
These are the parts in question:
Frames
barrels
barrel extentions
trunions
muzzel attachments
bolts
bolt carriers
operating rods
gas pistons
trigger housings
triggers
hammers
sears
disconnectors
buttstocks
pistol grips
hand gaurds
magazine bodies
followers
floorplates

Replace any ten of these and you are good to go. There a companies out there which will sell the parts and often a complete compliance kit for whatever rifle you may be interested in changing over.
