A dog? That must have been some dog! Heck, I'd have traded my WIFE for one of those!

Anyway, the term "tactical" is a term used by the gun manufacturers to pitch a model at police SWAT teams. They usually have a rail to mount either a high intensity flashlight or laser sight. Most of the large mail order shooting supply dealers carry accessories that will fit your gun.

Of course, I'm not sure that I would want to install ANY accessories, and certainly not a LOT. Maybe an optical sight, but the other things are not really useful for those of us not in LE. And, any accessories will require a special expensive holster, if you can even find one, other than the holsters that strap to your leg.

In any case, you have a high quality gun that should give you many years of shooting & still hold it's value if you take care of it. I just wouldn't waste my money on adding stuff that I would never use.

MAMA ALWAYS SAID IF YA CANT SAY SOMETHING NICE........IF IT WAS ME,I WOULD SELL IT AND BUY A REAL GUN FROM A MANUFACTURER THAT DIDNT SELL US OUT TO THE KLINTONOVS...OK THAT OFF MY CHEST,I DONT KNOW A THING ABOUT S&W'S BUT WHEN COPS AND MILITARY PERSONELL TALK ABOUT THERE FAVORITE TACTICAL GUNS YOU HEAR ABOUT SIGS ALOT,HK'S ALSO,EVEN GLOCKS,BUT NOT S&W.I KNEW SEVERAL STATE TROOPERS HERE IN TN AND THEY CANT WAIT TO GET RID OF THERE S&W'S,HOWEVER AS WITH SO MANY THINGS IF IT SHOOTS RELIABLY AND YOU LIKE IT THEN IT IS A GOOD DEAL,I MEAN THATS WHY THEY MAKE MORE THAN ONE KIND OF GUN I GUESS
