What scope to use on Savage Striker
I don't have any experience using scopes on handguns. What do people generally use on these "hand rifles?"
2X pistol scope or variable rifle scopes?
Resistance is futile in California, but I still refuse to be assimilated.

first choice would be a Bushnell Holosight, second would be a Burris 2x7 0 -
gskyhwk beat me to it!! What caliber is it and what are you going to use it for would be my next question. If it is a large caliber that you intend to hunt whitetails in fairly short ranges or in the woods, a holosight would be the perfect sight for shots up to 200 yards. If you can see the animal clearly, you can be on it instantly with the holosight! I have on on an xp-100 in 7BR and it will outshoot a lot of peoples rifles at 100 yards as far as group size goes. I also have a Burris 3-12 on another xp in 223 and out to about 200 yards I will have killed the varmint using the 7BR and holosight before I have found him and gotten the eye releif right using the 223!! I'm right behind both of you guys GHD. The scopes with magnification are a PITA when it gets to dusk. You won't be able to find your target or crosshairs with outstretched arms. get a holo-site or a red dot with at least a 35mm main tube.
I'm a man,....but I can change,.....If I have to,......I guess.0
