can you tell new from used
how do you tell if a glock magazine that is being sold as new is not really a used one? thank you

If it was used little and cleaned properly, it is hard to tell. The most obvious things to look for is burnt powder on the magazine follower, and scratches on the outside of the mag in the direction of insertion. Some people clean the follower and try to sell it as new. Push the follower down inside the magazine and stick a alcohol soaked q-tip just inside the mag and see if you get any powder residue.

Also check the magazine catch notch; because the magazine is made of plastic, it tends to show wear there too. 0
