Martini and Enfield rifles
I have recently bought a Martini rifle, its not an Enfield, but a custom Afghani copy. It is in great shape and is definately shootable. What kind of value would a gun like this have? Its .450 cal and made in the late 1800"s.
I also have the opportunity to buy some Enfield Snider Conversion rifles, also in great shape. What kind of value do they have?
I like the looks of both rifles and will buy one regardless of their value (you cant beat the going price over here) but will invest in more than one if I am sure I can get my money back. Most of the Enfield conversions are in the 1850-1860 range.
If you would like to see pictures of the Martini, respond to this post and I can send you pictures. If now one is sure of the value, just tell me what YOU would be willing to pay for one.
Thanks...hope to get some info...I have already talked to Randy C Davis at the Martini Gallery, but he was vague on the value.

Please send PHOTOS...I'm not going to comment until I see just what You have....and if You can get close enough to the Action on these Guns I'd like detailed Photos...As there were at least a half Dozen other Makers attepting to make or design Breech Loaders other than SNIDER...and some looked similar to the Snider......I await your pleasure.........
