Muzzleloader questions
1. Does anyone know of a stainless (synthetic stock preferred) pistol that will shoot the #209 primers? Also prefer one that has a safety.
2. How about a side-lock rifle that has a fully removeable breech-plug? Maybe even a stainless model...
Thanks
It doesn't matter what you shoot, just shoot it well...

don't know of any factory that builds a pistol like that . but it would be a good idea....On the rifle, built one myself, (works great for cleaning)...probably some liability reason why companies don't do this. 0 -
Yes, I agree... I have an in-line and realized just how easy they are to clean, and you can fully inspect the bore to make sure it is clean.
I like the inline, but still have an affection for side-locks (that is what I got my first deer with and MANY more since).

bambihunter : you need to get a 2003 T/c catalog!! their Fire STorm is a cap lock and has a removable breech plug and uses the 209 pr, accept magnum charges of 150gr of FFg or 3 pyrodex pellets , comes in blue with a composite stock
and don'tforget about the encore 209x50 muzzleloading pistol comes in blue only but hey its close to what you wanted0
