.45 ACP on Luger Patent?

Does anyone have the name and address or a web site for the guy (in California I think) who builds the .45 ACP pistol on the Luger patent?

  Seem to recall there was a fellow by the name of "John Martz" (sp?) that did a lot of custom work on Lugers, even made some .45acp conversions. His work was outstanding....here's a link to some other .45 cal Lugers...out of my price range [:)]

  Mike Krause of San Mateo is another Californian making .45 caliber Luger Pistols.

  I seen a bit in Guns and Ammo several years ago, and the 'smith vertictly cut two lugers in half (to make the pistol wider) and then welded the frame back together. The pics on the finished gun looked good! Is this the same guy you are talking about?

  I remember some time back G & A did a story on the worlds most expencive Lugar 1,000.000 + it was an actual Lugar chambered in 45 and submitted for US Army Ordinance approval. There were only two made and one was destroyed makeing this the last one. Sounds to me like this Mr. Martz has a top notch thing going.

  Queeksdraw...if i remember correctly, wasnt there 3 of em made? one was scrapped at the factory, one lost, remaining one in posession of an investment company in nevada or somesuch?
