NWTF 2003 gun of the year 9410
I just won a NWTF 2003 gun of the year,, win, 9410. This gun is too nice to hunt with,and will loose its collectors value.. I would like to know if anyone out there can give me a figure, on what it is worth???? thankyou,,,,, bruce581@attbi.com,,,,[?]

I just recently bought a plain-jane 9410 traditional, and paid $499 plus tax,came to around $430-ish. So I would imagine that a limited DU model would fetch much more at auction, good luck... 0 -

The 1100 is still available in limited quantity... I recently added one to my collection to join my old Savage 24 .22/410...
9410 vs. 870... it just depends if you'd rather have a lever-gun or pump (or auto as in the 1100). I am not a big fan of levers and I had a hard time shooting the 9410 and staying on target (especially on skeet). They are all good quality arms.

Reports are that the patterns from the 9410 are lousy. The best results have been reported by those who are having choke tubes installed. 0 -
I really don't get why people hang on to a "new "gun" hoping to take advantage of its "collectors value". Even if it is unique in some way. The truth is in most cases it will take a minimum of 20-25 years to realize any appreciable increase in value. That same amount of money invested, even at the current low interest rate will probably gain more value. I realize this is not true for everything but as a general rule the original owner will never see the collectors value of a piece like this. This can be applied to all collectible items. I would be willing to bet that if I pulled two equally priced toys off the shelf,one a collectable the other not, that in 50 years the non-collectable one will probably be worth more than the collectible one. The most valuable collectables are the items that very few were bothering to save. If you are saving it for the money do yourself a favor and get rid of it now. If you are saving it for its uniqueness and you enjoy having it, great and if some day you are lucky enough that it will bring you a small fortune greater yet. Just don't count on it. 0 -

I have an 870 .410 as well as the 9410,and I use them both for different things, I use the 9410 for rabbit and squirrels, and the 870 for doves and wingshooting. I have found that I get good patterns with the 9410, and it also shoots slugs very well too.I guess it comes down to personal preferance,I enjoy them both... 0
