SHOTGUN ID

I inherited an old break open double barrel shotgun. The only markings I can find on the outside are "A Field & Co, Birmingham" and
    "No. 9064".

When opened I found "G & I" (I think it is an I, it is pitted on the top if it.); "T. B & S"; "Patent No. 1723". There is also a diamond with B inside the diamond and "MARK" below that.

I was told it has a Damascus barrel.

    Appreciate any help.

THERE ARE NO MARKS UNDER THE BARREL EITHER AT THE BREECH OR ANYWHERE ELSE ON THE BARREL. THE ONLY MARKS I CAN FIND ARE THOSE STATED.

Its possible....I've looked thru the Winchester book, and several other scorces hoping to find where they produced Guns under licence or made and sold under a Ficticious Name to the Trade...Sorry to say...I can't be of any further help at this point in time...I've exhausted all avenues at my end....Maybe someone on the Forums will have the information You seek and post it.........I wish You Well...
