I have a Savage Mdl. 110 DL ca 1970. Can or does anyone install rhe new Accu Trigger on older Savages? Or would it be more cost effective to just buy a new gum. This one shoots 1 moa but I sure am impressed with the new trigger.

Just received a 10fp in a 223 with the new trigger (had to wait 6 weeks, although it's a left handed bolt). Will give it a try this weekend. Looking forward to using it and being able to adjust the trigger. I would also recommend that you wait. The cost is a bit more for the accu trigger but worth it.

The number one knock on the Savage is its poor trigger. You should definately wait for the new accu-trigger. Why would you buy the "old" one and then you'd have to take it to a 'smith to have trigger work done anyhow. I'm in the same boat you are because I want to get a Savage 308 with the Accu-trigger, but no one has one yet for me to look at/try, but I'm still going to wait.

i just put a scope on my brothers yesterday with the accu trigger seems to be allright it was set pretty light. i only shot it a couple times but i liked it. it think it would be worth the wait for one with the new trigger.

Thanks for the input. Looks like I'll have to wait a while.
