Glock Hi-Cap ID question
Hi all, a buddy of mine recently came accross a few glock hi caps for the G23, G22, and the G17. These mags are all third generation mags but the only thing different about them is that below the witness holes are two round indentations. On a few of the mags they are red and on one of them they are white. I would greatly appreciate any info on this.
Thanks,
Alex

no...they are round indentations on either side of the witness holes towards the bottom of the magazine and they are colored either red or white...there is one pair or indetnations on each mag.

pikeal1 ,
If they are on the wide side they could be clips for another extension (butt pad extension) to get to 20 round capacity. I saw this along time ago when high cap mags were legal...

I've never seen that before. I have seen plastic mags marked more often than steel ones, usually to identify the magazines in a set. Mags marked with a 1,2,and 3 lets a shooter know which magazine is acting up (If that's the problem). Maybe what your friend has is somebody's system like that. As far as I know, Glock does not do this. 0 -
i wish I had a picture to post of them. I'll try this

It looks something like this with the black holes being the witness holes on the mag and the two red dots on the bottom are the indentaions. The red ones are slightly wider apart than the witness holes.

I have not seen this. It does not look like what I was talking about. Sorry.
