    'Smoke,
If I remember correctly, phosphoric acid will remove it. I'll check around online and see if I can relocate that info.

    'Smoke,
Checked with a Parkerizing shop and they said that diluted muriatic acid will remove the parkerizing. I'm still checking on the phosphoric acid thing because I seem to remember it being compatible with the chemicals used for parkerizing. Maybe you could try some Coca-cola, seems to dissolve anything.[:D][:D][:D]

The government sand blasted the parts prior to a re-park.
I have successfully used Brownells "Steel White" to remove parkerizing
although it was intended for blue removal. 101

Very concentrated-thus you will require little.

Parkerizing can be removed by bead blasting... The firearm has to be disassembled anyway to blue it..Since to Parkerize the gun in the first place, it was most likely blasted to obtain an acceptable surface profile, your reblue will come out "matte" unless you polish it...
