Who make Weatherby's autoloading shotguns? Any info on there performance,reliability, and value?

  The Weatherby website indicates their "new line of semi-autos" are "Italian-made."

  The info I got was out of the Blue Book .Twenty First Edition.That's two years old.

  I have one, and it shoots really well and I couldn't complain about the price at 250.00 It was made by SKB. I might be confused with another gun but didn't they only make these in the early eighties with the last year being 1989? Whatever the years or the maker, you should enjoy this gun, as it is everything thats expected of the weatherby name
  I think they book about 400-460

  The SKB Weatherbys like the Model 82 were discontinued in 1989. The new SAS is in fact Italian made (starts with a B.... think '391').

  these shot guns are in the same rank's as the rem.1100,1187,1197 mosburg 1000,5500,9200 they are long action gas op. high maintance must keep very clean to opperate guns. always rember you get what you pay for. also the gas ports are of small dia. & they offen have trouble with small power loads ammo.
