Chrome lined Colt barrels

Does anyone know if the C MP stamped on Colt AR-15 barrels means chrome lined chamber and bore, or just chromed lined bore. The M-16's I have looked at are stamped "chrome lined bore", or something like that.

  Just as you thought: The C MP marking indicates a chromed chamber and bore. A single letter C indicates that the barrel has a chromed chamber only.

  and response. Does the "M" stand for "MAGNIFLUXED?"
