Everything I have read and heard about these carbines is only good stuff. Mfg. from scratch not using parts from other older carbines. They are suposed to be more accurate than the mil9itary version. My 2 cents

Yes these are very good weapons and very good sellers also. Delaer wholesale is 429.95 so base your prices you see off of that .

gunpag... I bought one of the IAI .30 carbines about a year ago. It did have a very rough trigger, but it smoothed out after a while, and the extractor broke after less than 100 rnds. I bought a G.I. extractor at a gun show, and now it works fine.
The one I have is the WWII commerative with a large silver medalion built into the right side of the stock. I paid $450.00.
    It's a nice little carbine.

Everything I've read so far in this thread is summarizing everything I've heard. New made investment cast receivers, USGI unissued parts. Fit ans finish is good to excellent, accuracy is great, and it'll be a little rough until broken in.

If you can get one for about that $425.00 range, I'd say you were doing just fine.
