    Those darn trees and rocks sure create some unsightly scars. I just ignore them on hunting arms. If you have previously refinished the wood and plan on having it done again, your wood is probably going to be undersize. There are new original stocks still available. Perhaps the way to go-only a suggestion. 101

    My BAR-22 has a split forearm and need a replacement. Where would one look for new stocks for this rifle? Does Browning still offer them? At what cost?

    I just found out that Browning sold all spare parts for the BAR 22, The place to contact is Erv Heiman, somewhere in Canada 780-489-5711 he quoted me a new stock and forearm for 125.00 for the set ,don`t know how much the forearm would be. good luck.
