How Do Cancel Someones Bid on an item Your selling

I have an auction running for a Red Label shotgun (has a day left in auction ), the high bidder just contacted me and wants out claiming he thought it was a different barrel length. Im willing to cancel his bid since I have other bids on the gun but I do not know how to do it. Can anyone help me ?

  Technically, he is responsible for his bid. It should not be your responsibility to extricate him from this mess.
  
  I had an item listed on GB, and someone mistakenly entered a ridiculously high bid. The administrator told me that the correct way to handle this situation is to have the bidder contact him and ask to have his bid cancelled. In your case, it sounds like a case of the bidder failing to read the description carefully, so the administrator may or may not be willing to allow him to retract his bid. Whatever the case, it's up the bidder and the administrator.
