52 Harpoon Gun

would like to know if anybody knows anything about a Kongsberg model 52 harpoon gun made in 1953: in the box, never used, all accessories, i would like to find the value.

  Is this the one made out of brass.A gun magazine about 10 years ago did a shooting test on 3 harpoon guns they had. One was made by H&R.They were shooting at bales of hay.Sorry I don't remember what magazine it was.My grandfather worked on a whaling ship when he was 14 years old.He use to sew up the rips in the sails.Just imagine going to Marine World and asking the ticket taker where do you keep the whales?You could a bunch of friends over and cook Wille. Goodluck,good hunting,or is that fishing and watch out for Greenpeace.

  Is Yours Pneumatic or Shell Fired?...Do You have the Dart and Spare?...Actally need to see it to be able to give an accurate estimate...Is it in the Wooden Case, 1 foot by about 3 1/2 Foot by 4"?..Almost an impossibily to have rebuilt....Very Limited collector Piece....Best....Captain Kirk
