Last Saturday, at an auction I saw a Remington 12 gauge double barrel in not such great shape, but was wondering if they made those guns in Black powder or just modern smokeless?
And any idea what they might be worth?

  I am not sure exactly what you are asking... but they do make double barreled shotguns for blackpowder. A new SxS double (in Cabelas shooting catelog) starts at around $500 and is available in 10 - 20 gauge for a NIB.
  I can't recall what the person's ID is, but someone on here is a blackpowder shotgunner - you might watch for a name that is something like that (bpshotgunner, smokepole scattergun) I can't remember... [?]

  The Remington S xS was made with Damascus and Nitro proof barrels-per model. I believe that the name of the shotgunner that bambi was referring to is: adamsquailhunter.
